Toulouse University Hospital has opted for Wood Fired boilers for the Heating requirements of their Purpan site. The 2 massive 2.5mW wood fired boilers will provide over 90% of the site’s heating and a condensing heat recovery system will also recover energy from condensing the Plant flue gas. The 2 boilers will consume over 9000 metric tons of locally forested wood and the scheme is expected to reduce forecasted CO2 emissions on the site by around 5300 metric tons.
